GENERAL POLICIES

 
  • Check in time is 4 pm & we advise guests that occasionally during peak season, we cannot guarantee 4 pm check in time.
  • Check out is 11:00 am, and on Saturdays during peak season we never allow late check out.
  • Guests agree not to exceed the maximum occupancy that is listed on the confirmation. The persons signing the confirmation MUST occupy the premises for the entire length of the stay.
  • We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. Anyone found breaking this policy will be required to leave the premises immediately with NO REFUND.
  • All homes and villas, as well as suites, are NON-SMOKING.
  • Any use of the premises other than a family vacation must be approved through South Beach Inn & Vacation Rentals. If the property is going to be used for any events such as weddings, receptions, parties or large gatherings, the guest agrees to submit the details to our office. If approved, guest agrees to pay any additional fees that may be associated with such gatherings such as carpet cleaning, trash removal, damages, etc., in addition to any security deposit as set by the Agency.
  • South Beach Inn & Vacation Rentals will not issue any refunds for voluntary hurricane evacuations or any other natural disaster unless it is a mandatory evacuation.
  • Guest is responsible for locking the rental property. Neither the Owner nor the Agency will be held responsible or liable for any theft or loss.
  • Lost items will be returned if found. Agency is not responsible for left items. Guests will be charged for return postage and materials to return items to the guests. Please remind the guests to make sure all drawers and closets are thoroughly checked prior to your departure.
  • Pets are not permitted in our properties or on premises unless it is a "Pet Friendly" accommodation. If you are found in violation of this policy, you will be asked to vacate the premises immediately without a refund. Additionally, guest will incur charges for fees, requiring a minimum of $350.00 cash security deposit for potential damage, flea treatment, carpet cleaning, and any monies remaining will be refunded within two weeks after departure.
  • Trailers, motor homes, and/or recreational vehicles are prohibited in Sea Pines. Please call our office if you have any questions.
RATES
  • Rates for homes and villas are weekly. Suite rates are per night.
  • Nightly rates for the homes and villas are computed by taking the weekly rate divided by five.
  • All rates are subject to change without notice.
  • Rates are subject to 10% tax unless staying 90+ days.
PAYMENT
  • 50% deposit is required on all homes and villas. This payment is taken at time of booking the reservation and the balance is due upon arrival. All reservations made within 30 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

  • Checks are accepted only with a valid driver's license.
  • A $35.00 fee will be assessed for any returned checks.
CANCELLATION
  • Homes & villas - cancellation must be made 30 days prior to the arrival date. If cancellation is made after this time, the entire deposit is forfeited unless the property can be re-rented for the same period of time and for the same rental amount.
  • Suites - Guests may cancel 72 hours prior to their arrival date. If our cancellation policy is not met a 50% charge of your total room stay will be charged.
  • There are no refunds for no-shows or early departures.
  • Should the Owner of the Property under our management program elect to remove their property from our program for any reason, the guest shall not hold the South Beach Marina Inn & Vacation Rentals liable. We will make every attempt to place you into a comparable property as determined by South Beach Marina Inn & Vacation Rentals. If a comparable property is not available, we will refund any monies paid to date by the guest.
